Welcome to Successful STEM Education
The US Dept of Ed is looking for peer reviewers with K-12 education experience to evaluate Education Innovation and Research (EIR) grant applications.
In the FY 2019 EIR grant competition, the US Department of Educations seeks to support: 1) innovative K-12 education projects that have the potential to increase student achievement and attainment, particularly among high-need students; and 2) the expansion (or scaling) of education practices that have evidence of effectiveness.
In support of this competition, they now seek individuals who can participate in review panels that will help them to select grant award winners, to provide written analysis and scoring of submitted grant applications, and to provide constructive written feedback to applicants. Visit the website to learn more about the qualifications needed, process for applying, responsibilities, payment, and more.
Our brief, Considerations for STEM Education from PreK through Grade 3, was featured in THE Journal and mentioned by ASCD and the STEMConnector's STEMdaily (to name a few). Thank you to our NSF DRK-12 funded authors and contributors.
